This year, I have decided to grow my own herbs. I plan on selling them and also using them for myself in my kitchen...not just for ooking with either. Fresh mint for mojitos is a necessity, but living up in the far north of Canada, it's sometimes hard to find fresh herbs... so, if I grow my own, then there are no excuses!
So far, I have grown basil, mint and sage from seeds. This weekend, I transferred them from the baby tubs to the bigger tubs in the hope that they will re-root and grow in the sun that is getting stronger every day up here.
Now that the baby tubs are free, I have planted more seeds and have added sage and rosemary to the mix.
If i have times it right and I think that I did, the first batch of herbs will be ready for early summer and the next batch for mid to late summer. Fingers crossed for a great harvest!
